Obstacles in Her Path
Within minutes of my daughter getting up each morning, this is what my living room floor looks like. As she practices walking, though, she hasn't quite figured out that stepping on or walking into these things will land her on her fanny -- or perhaps she's just so focused on her destination that she doesn't see the obstacles to maneuver around. She will stand up right in the middle of the pile then step on a toy and fall right back down. Then, she gets back up, only to do the same thing again.
