Daddy is "Dada," and Sometimes, So Is Mom
A few months ago, I noticed my daughter started to say, "Dada," consistently to mean her dad. Over the past couple of weeks, I think she's been calling me "Dada," too. It doesn't happen often enough, though, for me to be certain.
On Saturday, I took her to my mom and dad's house, and my brother, his wife and their six kids (yep, I said six) were there, too. She seemed a little confused by the swarm of people wanting to play with her, and as I breezed in and out of the room she was in, I noticed she would say, "Mom-Mom," as she reached for me. Once we got back home, though, the "Mom-Moms" stopped, and now, all I hear is "Dada" again.
