Hi

Last week, my husband, daughter and I attended a graduation ceremony for one of our nephews. My mom and sister sat a little distance away from us, and my sister wanted to hold her little niece, so for a little while, my daughter sat halfway across the room from me.

Like many such events, the room was rather noisy until the superintendent took the stage to welcome everyone. Right after his speech, we could hear our little girl saying, "Hi," except she says it really drawn out, like, "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii." We all had a good laugh.
