Before We Know It, She'll Be Walking
Our little girl has been pulling herself up for a few weeks now. At first, she did it only if she had a hold of our hands. Now, she does it against tables, the sofa, the side of her crib, whatever she can balance herself against.
Once when she was standing and holding on to my hands, she started picking up her feet as if she were trying to walk, but every time she set them back down, she put them behind her, so she kept moving farther and farther away. Now, she'll walk forward if we hold her hands, and she seems to be trying to figure out how to walk on her own if she's standing and wants something just out of reach. She reaches for it, as if she's thinking of trying to walk.
These past nine months have gone by so quickly.
