On The Go, With Mommy and Daddy's Help
For more than a week now, I've been thinking my daughter will start walking at any time. It seems to be her favorite activity, as long as my husband or I have a hold of her hands. She's walked all around our bedroom, out into the kitchen, around the living room, etc.
I see her fear, though, whenever she thinks about doing it alone. I've steadied her, then taken my hands away. Once she realizes she's on her own, she dives for me and loses her balance. If I try again too soon, she'll be expecting me to take my hands away, so she grabs them and doesn't let me let go.
She's getting braver just a little bit at a time.
