Yours, Mine, His and Hers
Last month, I wrote (with pride, mind you) about how my little girl knows what her hair is.
Since then, I've learned that's not quite true.
If I say, "Nicole, where's your hair?" she still touches her own hair every time. But she also touches her own hair when I say, "Nicole, where's Mommy's hair?" And, "Where's Daddy's hair?"
Therefore, I must correct my previous post. She gets what "hair" is, but she doesn't quite get possessives yet.
