One Year Ago TODAY ...
My husband headed off to work without me as I sat at home feeling a little uncomfortable but no closer to delivery than I had the day before. He stressed several times before he left that if anything should happen babywise, I should call him and he'd be home to pick me up ASAP.
I learned a few things during his absence. For instance, "That '70s Show" aired four times between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (Central time) on ABC Family; no matter how many times I tell my dad, "I'm fine here by myself, really," he'll stop by anyway; and a pregnant woman past her due date can vacuum vigorously for an hour straight but still not go into full-blown labor.
