After Ear Infection No. 5 ...

My husband and I learned yesterday that our little girl will need to get tubes put in her ears so that they drain better. Lots of kids have this done, I know, but it's hard not to feel bad for her. The doctor said she'd probably be uncomfortable for the first day only, but I'd rather she not be uncomfortable at all.
