The 9-Month Mark

On Saturday, my little girl turned 9 months old. The past nine months seem to have gone by a lot faster than the first nine. Those crept by. I didn't think my tummy was ever going to show, to feel the first kick -- both of which happened after I had passed the halfway mark.

In the nine months since my girl has been born, though, I've seen what seems like a change almost every day. I've seen someone learn to:
  • Roll over.
  • Use her hands to reach things.
  • Break out of her swaddle blankets.
  • Sit up on her own.
  • Clap.
  • Feed herself finger foods.
  • Crawl.
  • Nod her head.
  • Fake a cough.
  • Pull herself up.
  • Take little steps when I hold her fingers.

Amazing, huh?
