The 9-Month Mark
On Saturday, my little girl turned 9 months old. The past nine months seem to have gone by a lot faster than the first nine. Those crept by. I didn't think my tummy was ever going to show, to feel the first kick -- both of which happened after I had passed the halfway mark.
In the nine months since my girl has been born, though, I've seen what seems like a change almost every day. I've seen someone learn to:
- Roll over.
- Use her hands to reach things.
- Break out of her swaddle blankets.
- Sit up on her own.
- Clap.
- Feed herself finger foods.
- Crawl.
- Nod her head.
- Fake a cough.
- Pull herself up.
- Take little steps when I hold her fingers.
Amazing, huh?
