TV Time
At each routine health checkup, our daughter's pediatrician has asked my husband and me how much TV she watches. She had her six-month checkup recently, and I said she watches about one hour. She'll watch for about 30 seconds or so, then loses interest for half an hour or as she gets engrossed in a toy.
However, I've noticed the TV catches her attention a lot more often than it did just last week. She likes the commercials for the movie "The Lorax" and I've seen her really paying attention to "Dora the Explorer." I guess she's starting to notice anything animated. At her next doctor's appointment, we might have to put down two hours or so.
