Morning Smiles

Whenever my little girl wakes up in the morning, she's whining. She crawls around in her crib or on our bed, depending on whether we got tired of getting up and checking on her during the night, and flops her head against the mattress as if she's just oh so tired.

The minute one of us picks her up, though, she's energized. She's all smiles, grinning big enough to show us her toothies.

Her smile, by the way, energizes me, too.
